Easy Does It Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation Center
So far our ranch has saved 20 horses from mistreatment, malnutrition, neglected medical complications and abuse. Some of these rescued horses needed 24 hour medical care while others needed to be brought back to soundness from being neglected and malnourished. Currently, we have 4 of the 20 horses still on our ranch. The others were adopted by loving families who will show them the kindness and love they deserve.
If you would like to assist in anyway please contact us. We do currently offer an Adopt-A-Horse and Feed-A-Horse programs. These program help feed and care for a horse on a monthly basis.
Part of what we do in our Recue Efforts help to train involved volunteers and our students to save and care for these neglected, injured and mistreated animals. So educating humans goes hand in hand with saving these wonderful creatures. The feeling you get when you have helped these animals is so rewarding. It is more than payment enough to make you go on and push yourself to continue after being up all night with a sick horse. The horses become part of your life and your family.
